Once Upon A Night

Once Upon A Night

A Poem by flauxxual

The moon was shaped like a scotch glass,
Fell in love, took a picture I can still taste.
Me and Mother Nature danced on dry ice,
I closed my eyes and heard her say,
"How's about we get out of here and melt".
She took my hand, then twirled her dress.
All the stars shot to where they started,
time was rewinding at such a quick rate.
So fast, swooshing through space, in a race.
The crows feet climbed off her face,
perched on her underarm wings and took flight.
We became ageless, once upon a night.
