Trust is a bridge

Trust is a bridge

A Poem by Patrick L. Fannin
"

my least favorite

"

Trust is a bridge, a bridge that takes time to build
The bridge is an extension to another person
A connection to understanding
From which respect is found

One chink in the glass structure, will bring it down
In seconds, your life’s work is ruined
Nearly impossible to duplicate
The necessary drive to re-build is rare.

Building the bridge is an odd thing
Everyday, you think, today is the day
Even though you know it takes time
You try to finish it everyday

Take your time, build it right
Don’t cut corners, or cut budgets
Waiting will take most of your efforts
But your patience will reward you in the end

"One chink in the glass structure". I don't know why, but that line really gets me...When I say it out aloud it sounds pretty cool.

Quite honestly, I think the poem is pretty good.
