Everlasting

Everlasting

A Poem by WilliamDagursson
"

...and I go flying...

"
As creation becomes one
with mindful destruction
I shatter the bars of my prison
and I go flying

The world, so full of beauty
as reality loses its grip on me
and fades
the universe I have created

The ugly impermanence of everything
crumbles
and all becomes as everlasting
as it is ever-changing

I become omnipotent God
I become eternal sleep

WilliamDagursson,

As I sit and read your words, I ponder upon the visual blessing that have occurred inside my mind’s eye.

Your words are powerful and clear - as to the understanding, it takes a bit of pondering to become full the nature in its entirety.

I like how this poem takes a stand and tell the reader who he is and what they are seeing. No questions asked; full of promise for an ever-changing world and an everlasting life even as it crumbles to its own destruction.

This is an excellent poem, one to which I feel has an important place in the Enlightenment contest from Poetic Infusion Society.

I enjoyed the mind's play on all aspects of this poem, for that I thank you – tech support called - you have my mind up and running now.

Great job,

Legacy
