Unheeded

Unheeded

A Poem by WilliamDagursson
"

...

"
My heart pounds against my ribcage
I tremble at its loud intrusion
the weight of everything leans against the ground
and my bones ache from the tension

I listen for a conversation I don't belong in
I listen for an ocean to comfort the coast
to calm and caress every inch of shore

I hear the restlessness of meaning
and the exhale of a life without regret
every voice dissolves
and pools into the silent-sea
where prayers are left to die

...
a very poignant piece of writing
we're all looking for resilience
in the face of great adversity
