A Poem by Xye Nelson

I am here. I am in your face and I demand your attention. I will scream until you stare. Until you question yourself, your ethics, your God. I will not back down.

I watch you. While you sleep. I am more aware of your faults than Santa and I do not forgive half as quickly.

I am local, obvious, intrusive, loud and honestly dishonest.

You will never "get me gone"

Cause I, I am you. I am that person deep inside that aches to be expressed and freed.

I am you, my dear
And I hate myself.

I wasnt sure where this poem was going, if it would end up being weird and seemingly with no meaning, but actually, it was perfectly balanced and well written. well done.
