The Chronicles of RidiculeA Chapter by flaneurTrying to persevere in a cold, unrelenting world. Inspired by the movie, which is a metaphor of my reality.
I am Atlas. Bearing the weight of the world on chiseled shoulders - proud and elevated for all to behold.
Alas, I am Sisyphus. My world crumbles in a rockslide. I heft it again onto weary shoulders " but stumble and fall under endless burdens.
I am Yoga Man. Curled into a wooden ball, the weight of the world on my sagging shoulders " face buried in hands praying, (sobbing) and laughing.
At last, I am Icarus. Bursting from bondage with renewed effort, soaring beyond the tether of my afflictions.
Wings bursting aflame! I hurtle toward earth, denied by the Sun.
Falling... back into my familiar darkness, vision polished clear as [compressed] pain reappears.
I am Furyan.
