Yahweh Nissi.

Yahweh Nissi.

A Poem by Kitty
"

Words from a modern day Psalmist.

"
Oh Lord how much longer must I wait?
My spirit wastes away!
My thought are consumed with moving forward and out of this wilderness.

Help me God of my salvation, out of this pit that my enemies have ensnared me in!
I long for the days of peace and comfort, but not to go back I must say!
Teach me the way I should go Father!
Lead me into all truth as you stated you would.

And I will sing of your love forever
not tomorrow but today!
My hope is in you oh God, I anxiously await your salvation!
Not because of who I am but because of who you are!
 Your the King of glory
my banner in times of trouble
the hill that I run to
when I find myself in the valleys.

I will rest in you for you have adopted me into your own.
By the blood of your son Jesus
I will hide under the shadow of your mighty wings!
I decide today that I will not be anxious for I will trust in your words of promised salvation deliverance and promises of good things.

You are a God who delights in giving good things to those that seek your heart.
I seek your heart Father, I seek your heart!
I know who I am, your glory shines a light in my heart
and though my enemies try to condemn me,
you Oh God defend me
you've cleansed me
and always delivered me!

I know I can do nothing to make you love me more.
Your love is perfect and more than enough for me
help me always remember
and i will lift you on high
like a banner of victory with all that I am.
