Attitude of Gratitude

Whats your hearts attitude like?

I used to have an attitude

You couldnt say NOTHING to me!

I was a snob and

defenitely NOT a pushover!

But all of that was just a charade

to protect myself from the pain

I had deep inside.

See one day I met Jesus

and he turned my attitude into

gratitude.

He healed my heart and my hurt

He showed me that I needed to be humble

because he was humble

Imagine that?

Jesus, the Son of God had a humble attitude

But it was more than just an attitude

He has a humble spirit

See, Ge more than anyone had a right

to act like He was the King!

But instead He showed me that

in order to be part of His Kingdom

One must be lowly

turning the flesh upside down

Because thats when he will raise you up

instead of trying to raise myself up

acting all high and mighty

when in reality

He is the only one that is High and Mighty.

I like this because we all have to check our attitudes to make sure we are not passing judgment or exalting ourselves above others...I love the title!
