In your presence

He is almighty God.

I am here before you and

 

my heart thirsts for you

 

and you are Here with me.

 

 

Simply on my knees

 

with my heart in my hands

 

you come to me once again

 

you presence fills this place

 

This dark and simple place

 

is not fit to recieve a King

 

and yet you are here

 

a mighty yet humble

 

God.

 

Not one that seeks glory in things

 

that surround him

 

or people that exalt him

 

but you seek a pure and

 

honest heart.

 

With only a speck of hope

 

you raise me and

 

clean me once again

 

and change me and

 

it pleases you to

 

make a vessel out of me.

 

 

Magnificent Glory!

 

Your love cleanses me and

 

it pleases you to make me into

 

something new.

 

Never stop being who you are

 

always relentless in your

 

purusit of me Father.

 

Always letting me love you more

 

a servant at heart

 

in action and intent.

faithful to you

 

as you have always

 

been faithful to me.

As I read this piece, I was overtaken with chills because you touched my heart. It always seems that when I need inspiration, your work provides that. Or shall I say that God has a faithful servant through you and you are doing His work.
