A Poem by flameinthesnow
"

NaPoWriMo Day #5

"
A wisp of a magpie
perched on a poplar branch
knows nothing of ennui,
of the chains on our wings.
She broadcasts the news
of Celestial return.
The fog-curtain ripples,
a rainbow is released.

Outlined in rivulets --
a cascade of snowmelt,
a delicate profile,
a Cloud-Maiden -- dancing.
