The Path of Logic Lies

written in junior or senior year of high school about living a double life and being a pathological liar. (1999-2000)

The face of hypocrisy hidden amongst the truth.
Lies overwhelming pour from the depth where they seem so real.
Feelings are true but words are not.
Distortion leads to mutation.
Becoming the words.
Living the life placed before.
Memories of nothing evoke pain upon thought.
Pity is undeserved and anger necessary but the two are somehow reversed in this long and twisted charade.
Untruth becomes real when felt inside.
Pain doesn't deceive the beholder but eyes do.
Walking both sides of a forked path becomes easier with distance.
And in the end both roads join again.
