deadly love

deadly love

A Poem by fitz Roberts

Her love so deadly.
deadliest of them all.
her love just an inkling.
never felt always small.
a kindness shortly known .
a beacon snuffed.
leaving you stranded and alone .
it an envy like wrath.
a fog that breaks lose and smothers your path .
deadly it is addicting.
a compulse I cannot control .
deadly is your love .
it the boat keeper me the toll.

Hmm...sounds like this could be turned into a rock and roll song. You have a metaphor that leaves an impression. It is carried out through the beacon, fog, and boat. Nicely done!
