Union J going on festive break

The boy band - who shot to fame after appearing on 'The X Factor' in 2012 - will spend Christmas Day tomorrow (25.12.14) with their families but are then jetting off to a secret location to combine work and play.

Josh Cuthbert said: ''We're spending Christmas with our families, then on Boxing Day we're going away together.''

Jaymi Hensley added: ''We can't tell you where we're going - it's a working holiday as we're performing our new single.''

George Shelley added: ''We are.''

One thing which won't be happening at Christmas is J.J. Hamblett proposing to his girlfriend, though he admits he wants to marry her one day.

Asked whether fans can expect to hear about a festive proposal, he said: ''Not at the moment. One day there'll be a proposal but I don't have a plan as to when. We're planning a plan and one day we'll plan to do it.''
