A quick Google search will provide you with an overwhelming amount of parties taking place on Halloween this year throughout New York City, but not all of them are worth attending. So we've done some research for you and rounded up the most stylish Halloween bashes that you won't want to miss.

Keep reading to see our picks and be sure to secure your spot before it's too late.

If you're seeking a truly sophisticated Halloween party this year, the NoMad Bar is the place for you. The Nomad Masquerade Ball is a black-tie event for the fanciest of patrons. In addition to delicious food and drinks, the party will also feature live entertainment by Chris Norton Septet, SugarTone Brass Band, Grupo Irek and DJ Matt Seigel. Purchase tickets here.

Heidi Klum's annual Halloween party is always a big to-do. This year, the supermodel is bringing back DJ Questlove to provide the entertainment at a to-be-determined location (some past venues of Klum's parties have included Lavo, Marquee and the Rooftop Lounge at Dream Downtown). Since Klum's parties are always attended by a slew of high-profile celebrities, your chances of scoring an invite are probably pretty slim, but we couldn't leave this extravagant event off our list.

We can't think of a better place to spend Halloween than at popular New York City club No. 8. Break out your most stylish skeleton costume for No. 8's Dia de los Muertos party, hosted by Amy Sacco. Juss, Kalkutta and Nicole Leone are slated to DJ, so make sure to wear your dancing shoes.

The NoMad Bar isn't the only venue hosting an elegant Halloween party this year. The Jade Hotel is also putting on a sophisticated soiree. This event, held at the hotel's restaurant, Grape & Vine, is invite-only until midnight, but after that you can stop by dressed like your favorite Old Hollywood star.

Everyone loves a rooftop party, which is why you need to check out The Attic's Halloween event. This bi-level rooftop space, located on top of the Hilton Garden Inn, has an elegant, Old Hollywood charm that somehow manages to feel modern at the same time. By purchasing tickets here, you get access to a VIP lounge and a two-hour open bar. We'll cheers to that.
