Tired light

Flickering it may but, still brightly shin
glow it thought but, flickering it fought.

What is the room but without me?
the light that complete the dimming mess.

Night descend but, still is it bright
light shin, but flicker it might .

What will the room be without the light?
what will the light be without the night?

for as long as there is light, night must follow
for where there is a light, there is a shadow.

One cannot have one without the other. We appreciate the light because of the darkness, yet the darkness provides us reprieve for what the light illuminates for the next day. The role of the light can be tiring especially when it is alone, yet without it what is really known? Great poem! I pray for community of lights to surround yours.
