Zealous

Zealous

A Poem by James Paulin

Our purpose seeks all that’s clear

then passion burns further appeal.

Intensity feeds faith revered.

Commitment breeds persistent zeal.

To stand upright and speak the truth

bears consistence without relief.

Fire in both word and deed is proof.

Silent witness rings unbelief.

zeal may save a life or two, but the bodies of the forsaken will stretch to the horizon...better the truth go quietly and gently in this wayward world
