easy riser

easy riser

A Poem by James Paulin
"

Cameo

"

hello

blear eyed views appear

grumbles choose snooze to rude alarms

tumble out

stumble about till balance found

mumbles give pause to recall

coffee

I depend on my one and only cup first thing. Thanks for the smile...

sounds like my morning, but i'd replace the coffee with pepsi!
i presume this "cameo" is a particular style of poem as well. i am not familiar with it.

your title suggests one who pops out of bed like bread from a toaster, perhaps "reluctant riser" might suggest one like me who doesn't like to get out of bed:)
