Mojo

Mojo

A Poem by James Paulin

Magic,

irresistible,

magnetic charms that overwhelm;

for a time.

Impulsive attraction delay

heeds the past and peers ahead;

today.

Seems oxymoronic doesn't it? Delaying an impulse?? Darn conscience, putting the brakes on such neuronal firings!
Great word also, Mojo. I like the word "moxie" too. Was just thinking of writing a poem entitled "She's got Moxie to burn"........what do you think?

Mojo- love that word. Can be used in so many different contexts.

I like the idea of delaying impulses. Something I am quite familiar with.
Fine writing here James.. Very fine:-)
