Out

A Poem by James Paulin

may come quick or slow

almost all have untied ends

mighty high to way down low

mortality date, everyone attends

fond memories live on though

perpetually love transcends

encore to the show

a minimalist view of death.....nicely stated

the need to rhyme slow and low does make line 1 grammatically incorrect where slow should be slowly

i like the phrasing of line 3 especially...nice word choice

and the memories lingering after death providing an encore to a life well lived! a beautiful thought!

Great rhyme and flow! You have said a lot in a few lines. Death comes to us all no matter who we are or what we own. I really like the 4th line:

"mortality date, everyone attends"

Well penned!
