Cynic

Cynic

A Poem by James Paulin

too high the cost of the aim

no matter if value priceless

change is full of wont and don’t

so sad an ordeal are failures

risk is a loss of self-control

rely on that which is for sure

repeat, proceed without error

to place one’s hopes on a dream

wastes a lot of time and dollars

same ways will work once again

never doubt or any uncertainty

why reinvent and take a chance

but lack of improvement, a mystery

Lots of wisdom here. I once had a Yoga instructor tell me that chaos and confusion was a good place to be, since you were more or less forced to find your way through to a place of calm and growth. You paint a good picture of one who will not change or fights it at every chance.
