Ivory WhitesA Poem by James Paulin
A little dental music please Recline, relax with no fear Open wide to peek, poke and freeze Did you floss those in the rear?
Teeth include our smile, bite and chew, pearls of white which gleam and grind. Care of each tooth from youth it’s true, to brush in front and behind. With stokes of hand we use toothpaste. Some sweet snack heeds neglected, “I’ll do it later”, said in haste. Soon cavities detected.
Dental visits brings chills of drills, needle stabs for Novocain. Hefty tolls sum up dentist bills, no full loss of frightful pain Incisors, molars and yet more, every grin and gnaw on bone use choppers we try to restore. False teeth are not like your own.
