Daylife

Daylife

A Poem by James Paulin

mother dawn bears hope

pure and bright, if we see

here now, what might be

brother noon works away

sweat blessed in worthy vow

what might be, believing now

sister evening reaps reward

gifts grow, feed, then also seed

believing now in what we need

Father great of every new day

gives all some chance to share

what we need, if each would care
