Morning Glory

Morning Glory

A Poem by James Paulin

awake fair flowered vine

vivid horns yawn with hues

heart leaves trail back in line

daybreak in purple or blues

-

charming white, ever frail

mixed colors double show

to greet morn with a hail

as if to say “hello”

-

lavender, aqua or pink

turquoise, violet display

not long to bloom and shrink

captured beauty early day
