Moments in silenceA Poem by Jason
Air breathes from silent corners
As the night sky moves
The stars heard in her words
Reflect radiance from the moon
The calm and serene ocean
Greets with tidings from the shore
Scattered shadows from the clouds
As the waves look like velour
Many summers before
We met the colors of our eyes
No words need to be spoken
Only sounds from our sighs
A still night upon us
As if time has ceased
One last moment to hold
As I scatter the ashes of my deceased
