Protectors of Acra Generation 1: The Fight Has Only Begun

On their way back, Ethan and Caleb never said a word to each other, until Ethan finally broke the silence. "So I heard that you are part of the Werewolf Team!" Ethan said. "Yes, I'm the leader," Caleb replied in a deep voice. "Oh really!" Ethan tried to act surprised but he had already been told. "I'm Ethan by the way". "I'm Caleb". "Nice to meet you," Ethan said, Caleb, did not reply he just kept walking, but he eventually stopped. "What's wrong?" Ethan asked. "They are coming," Caleb said. "Who is coming?" Ethan asked. "Moonstruck Reapers, ten of them," Caleb said pulling out his sword. "Where I don't see anything," Ethan said. "Just watch," Caleb said he picked up a rock and threw it, the rock bounced off something. Then ten Moonstuck Reapers appeared. Caleb handed Ethan a small sword, "If you are here you might as well show me what you can do," Caleb said. Then the Reapers started running towards them. Ethan ran up to one it tried to stab Ethan with its long sharp claws, but Ethan slid between its legs and stabbed it as he slid. "He is good, but he can't be that good," Caleb thought as he stabbed a Reaper. More and more seemed moving forward. But Ethan and Caleb did not give up, they kept fighting. "There are so many! there is no way we can fight them all!" Ethan said. "No! we keep fighting no matter what!" Caleb said. But two Reapers grabbed Caleb and pinned him to the ground. Ethan tried to get to him but there were too many of them. "GO EATHER!!! SAVE YOURSELF!!!" Caleb yelled. Ethan climbed up a tree. But the Reapers did not run after him. Ethan was confused, "Why didn't they go after me?" he thought. He jumped up from the tree and landed on the ground. "I don't have much time, I need to get Caleb back!" Ethan said to himself.

The Reapers took Caleb to a place where three trees were surrounding a big rock, and sitting on the rock was a hooded figure. Two Reapers and Caleb stood in front of the rock, the figure stared down at him. "So, my soldiers have told me that you are the leader of the Wolfteam, it was a mistake for you to come to my moutan let alone come to my forest," the figure said. "Who...who are you?" Caleb asked. "My name is Mary, I'm the leader of the Mount Mortem Reapers," the figure said. "Do you mean to tell me that there are Reapers living here!" Caleb said. "Reapers live everywhere! but not all Reapers are under the control of the Scythe Empire," Mary said. "What do you want with me," Caleb said. "You are very important to your people, so we are going to make a deal with them, we hand you over and they never return to our mountain," Mary said. "I'm sure they will not take the deal," Caleb said. "We will see, but for now, we will just have to wait, I will send someone first thing in the morning," Mary said. She got off the rock and walked up to Caleb, "Hmm the more I think about it, I don;t think I want to get rid of you because you are quite handsome," Mary said, Caleb just glared at her. 

Ethan finally found where they were, Caleb had been put inside an old cage. Ethan sneaked down to it and tried to open it. "Ethan, what are you doing here? I told you to leave!" Caleb whispered. "I'm sorry but I couldn't leave you," Ethan said. He opened the cage and Caleb got out. "So, I see we have another Guardian with us, and I see that he is a trainee," a voice said. Ethan and Caleb looked over and saw Mary sitting on top of the rock. "Why don't you come down here and fight and stop talking!" Ethan said. "Hmmm, if I'm going to fight I don't want to waste my time fighting a weak trainee," Mary said. "I am not weak, I have killed so many Reapers, that I have lost count," Ethan said but of course that was a lie because most of the Reapers he had killed, he had help from Frank. "Hmmm, if you are as good as you say you are, let's fight!" Mary said, she stood up and jumped off the rock and landed a few feet in front of Ethan. Ethan found Caleb's sword lying on the ground and picked it up. "Sorry sir, I'm only going to use this once," Ethan said. Mar got out two swords and ran towards him. Ethan ran towards her and they started attacking. Ethan held the hilt with two hands and went over his head and slashed down. Mary used her swords to block his blade, then she pushed it away. Then she lunged towards him trying to stab Ethan, he jumped out of the way. He then tried to same. Mary slashed her sword and it cut his cheek. Mary took her swords over her head and slashed down. Ethan tried to block her blades. Then he got the operativity to kick her leg knocking her to her feet. Ethan stood over her with blood dripping from his face, his eyes looked like balls of fire. He raised his sword then stabbed her. He walked over to Caleb and handed Caleb's sword back to him. "Well done, we need to get out of here before the other Reapers find out what happened," Caleb said. 

They walked for a while and it was once again very quiet. "You have proven yourself," Caleb said. "Wha.....what do you mean sir?" Ethan asked. "I'm giving you the operativity to join the Werewolf Team," Caleb said. "Re..really!" Ethan could not believe what he was hearing. "Yes but you have to go through a few tests once we get back to the Werewolf Team base, and once you become apart of the team you listen to me, and if you do not follow my orders I will not be as forgiving as Michelle  is," Caleb said his eyes had a dark blue feel to them. 

A few minutes later they finally made it back to the others. "I'm glad you back did you run into any Reapers?" Michelle asked. "Yes, a whole army of them and we killed their leader so they will be coming after us once they find out," Caleb said. "Well the plane should be here any moment now," Michelle said. And sure enough, the plane landed. "Okay everyone, I want everyone in a single file line and get on the plane," Michelle said she checked off everyone's name as they went inside. "Michelle, I need to talk to you about something," Caleb said, "Ok what is it?" Michelle asked. "It's about trainee seven Ethan, I have chosen him to be part of my team, and since two of my team members died while we were here I have chosen three members including Ethan to come along with me," Caleb said. "Hmmm, I see fine then I will mark Ethan's name off my list, who are the other two?" Michelle asked. "Cooper and Sandra," Caleb said. "But why them?" Sandra asked, "Because they are very skilled and they will be very useful for my Team," Caleb said as he entered the plane.

Later the plane flew back to the barracks. Ethan got off the plane and saw that the other team had gotten back. Ethan walked to his barracks to pack his things. "Hey Ethan!!!" a voice said. Ethan looked at him and saw Arura running towards him. "Hello Aurora," Ethan said, "It is good to see you again, I guess you got back early too!" Aurora said. "Yes there were Reapers everywhere, and thankfully we got out alright, but we did lose some people along the way," Ethan said. "I guess we start training hard training tomorrow," Aurora said. "I forgot to tell you that I'm not going to be here to train anymore," Ethan said. "What! did you get kicked out?" Aurora asked. "No, I was chosen to be part of the Werewolf Team and I'm leaving in a few minutes," Ethan said. "I guess this is goodbye then," Aurora said. "No, we will see each other again, but it will be a while, I will be right back," Ethan said. 

He went inside and packed his things into a bag and grabbed his father's blunder bus, "never know when I'm going to need this," Ethan said.

He walked out side and saw Alk, Frank, and Paul standing with Aurora. "We heard you are leaving!" Alk said. "Yeah, I am," Ethan said. "Hmmm, I guess we will see ya on the other side," Frank said. "Don't worry, we will see each other again, even if it is after this war is over, and if it is I hope you all are alive," Ethan said. "Yeah I hope so too," Aurora said. "Bye everyone, stay strong," Ethan said he walked away towards the command center.

He saw Caleb, Sandra, and Cooper waiting out side. Sandra was tall and had long hair and black skin. Cooper was normal size and was bald with white skin, and they both had on their trainee gear just like Ethan. "Ethan! I want you to meet Sandra and Cooper, and Sandra and Cooper, I want you to meet Ethan," Caleb said. "Nice to meet you," Sandra said she and Ethan shook hands. "Nice to meet you also," Cooper said. They all go into a jeep and it started driving away. And as it drove away, Ethan could see Aurora waving goodbye, and Ethan could tell that she had a tear in her eye. "Excuse me sir, but why don't we just use a plane to get where we need to go?" Ethan said. "Because we are the Werewolf Team, and we try to go unnoticed," Caleb replied.

"I hope Ethan will be alright," Aurora said, to Alk. "This is Ethan we are talking about, he is the one who knew almost everything about the Reapers in the class, we should be getting ready for the big travel ahead for us," Alk said. "What travel," Dinient you hear? we are going to the land Fortun, that is where the first war with the Reapers started," Alk said. They both headed to the mess hall for dinner.

Just on the out side of the outskirts of the barracks, there is a big hill. Anthony and Tempest were standing on top of it watching the sun set. "What should we do now?" Tempest asked. "We....we play along with them for now but we will soon be on our own," Anthony said. "If we are going to kill Reapers too why don't we just join them," Tempest said. "Because we can not take a chance, Father was killed by the Guardians many years ago," Anthony said. "That was back when the Guardians became corrupted, and besides father probably delivered it," Tempest said. "Hmmm, I will never forgive him for what he did," Anthony said.
