In this story, the southside of the Estoe city has been bombed by the northside, now two survivors have to work together to stop the northside from launching more bombs on other lands

Many years ago there was a very big controversy in a city called Estoe. The people on the northside of the city were called Siinport and the people on the southside were called Nobfrag, Both sides hated each other but for good reason. Siinport wanted to make super-powered weapons that were powered by Gamma Ray Energy, It does not sound to bad right?....WRONG, Gamma Ray Energy is very dangerous and if just one person touches it, they will start to feel a numb feeling in their head then soon all over their body then they will start to fade away. Nobfrag stole the Gamma Ray and took it away from Siinport, that is when a caged fence was put up. But the fence did not stop Siinport, they smuggled people on the other side but they were soon found. Then Siinport found more Gamma-ray then they made a bomb and launched it over the fence and that is where start the story begins. The first person to see the bomb was a young man named Steven, Steven was an author righting a book about a race of humans that have wings. He was riding his bike to a market where he was looking for a rare fruit called Zupi. "Hello Steven, have you finished that book yet?" the lady that owned the fruit stand said. "Hello Miss Pome, no I have not finished it yet I'm just now getting to the part where the main character Jim is finding the lost race of humans," Steven said. "Oh that sounds very interesting, I guess you are looking for some Zupi fruit," Miss Pome said. " Yes I am, do you have any?" Steven asked. "I'm so sorry we will not have any more Zupi until next month," Miss Pome said, "Oh well thanks anyways," Steven said he walked away and started to right inside his journal to add things to his book. While he was walking he saw his brother and sister named Richard and Margeret. "Hello," they both said to Steven, "Hello," Steven said. "Did you find any Zupis?" Margret asked, "No, but I found Green Seds," Steven said. "Yuck! I hate Seds," Richard said, "Have you even tried the Red ones?" Steven asked. "Yes I have and I don't like them," Richard said, "I think the yellow ones are the best," Margret said. "They are all great," Steven said, but he was not looking where he was going and he walked right into someone, and that someone was a girl named Elizabeth. "Oops! sorry," Steven said Elizabeth just glared at him and walked off. "What is her problem," Margret said, "I don't know anymore she has always been this way around me for five or more years," Steven said. "We were friends at one point but something happened one day and she stopped talking to me," Steven said. "Oh, My! I'm going to be late to the chess club I will see you two later," Steven said then he started to walk away. 

A few moments later he was on his way to the chess club he stopped and looked up at the sky. He saw some kind of rocket falling from the sky, "What is that thing?" Steven said to himself. Then it landed outside city hall, for a moment nothing, then everyone heard a loud beeping sound then the rocket exploded then the whole southside of the city was destroyed. 

In the northside of the city, the Siinport Army General was looking with binoculars to see what happened to the southside of the city. "General Able! we have good news," One of the rocket operators said. "And what is the good news?" Able said, "The rocket has successfully exploded in the southside of the city," the rocket operator said. "Good, now I will send out a squad of soldiers to go and make sure that no one survived," Able said.

"Cough, cough, cough" Steven was still alive. But everyone else had disappeared, "Hello! is everyone ok," Steven yelled but no one answer. The only sound he could hear was the sound of the wind. he looked up at the sky it was dark cloudy and the air was full of fog, dust, and brown smoke. Steven kept walking around, he did not see anyone,"I wonder who could have done all of this?" Steven said to himself. As he was walking he heard a someone, it sounded like someone was crying. Steven looked around and saw nothing, but then he saw Elizabeth hiding under a car. "Elizabeth are you okay?" Steven asked, but Elizabeth did not answer she just glared at him like she always does. "I said are you okay," Steven said. "Don't talk to me!" Elizabeth said, "And why should I not talk to you?" Steven asked. She did not answer she just stared at him with a hateful face. Steven sat down on the ground beside the car. "Elizabeth I know you hate me some reason, but we are going to have to work together if we are going to find out what is going on," Steven said. "And I am not leaving until you either tell me why you hate me or you decided just help me," Steven said, for about a minute nothing. "You stole my opportunity to leave this city," Elizabeth said, "What do you mean?" Steven asked. "Six years ago there was a boat that came to our city, they were passing through heading to the Segu Islands and they were never coming back. I wanted to go but you needed help with something I thought I would have enough time to help you then get back to the boat, but when I got back it had already left. If you had never asked me I could have been on a sunny island, instead of being stuck here with you of all people". "Elizabeth I'm sorry you lost your chance of leaving but there is no need to keep holding on to stuff from the past, you need to let it go," Steven said. "Let it go? how do you expect me to let something like this go," Elizabeth said. "You need to..." Steven could not finish because Elizabeth just walked off. "Where do you think you're going?" Steven asked, "Away from you!" Elizabeth said. "Well good luck," Steven said, then he walked off to see if he could find anyone else.

 He looked for hours but he could not find anyone, he even looked at his house but he did not see anyone. It was dark now and there was no light, he didn't even have a flashlight, then all of a sudden he saw a light in the distance it looked like it was on top of a truck or a car. Steven walked closer then he could see the light was on top of a tank. Steven hid behind a car and watched he saw soldiers walking beside the tank and a soldier was on top of the tank working the giant light. "Do you see anyone?" One of the soldiers said, "Yeah I see someone over there!". "For a moment Steven though they were talking about him, but the soldier working the light pointed to an old truck, and they could see Elizabeth hiding inside. "Go over there and check it out," The soldier working the light said. Two of the Soldiers started to walk over there but Steven got found a rock and threw it at one of the Soldiers. The Soldier was knocked over, "ELIZABETH RUN!!," Steven yelled. Elizabeth got out of the truck and ran inside a building, Steven had no choice it was kill or be killed, so he decided to fight. he got out from behind the car and threw another rock, but this time he threw it at the big light so no one could see him. Then he took one of the Soldier's guns and shot four of them, then he shot the one working the light, The tank operator came out. Steven told him to sit on the ground. "Who are you people?" Steven asked The tank operator, "I'm not going to say anything," The tank operator replied. "You better talk now or else!" Steven said, "Or else what are you going to shoot me?, you can't even hold that rifle right," The tank operator said. "Is Siinport behind all of this?" Steven asked, "Now that is something I can answer, yes Siinport is behind of all of this and soon the entire world will be this way," The tank operator said. "How did Siinport do all of this," Steven asked. The Soldier did not reply then Steven hit the rifle over The tank operator's head. "Tell me now," Steven said, "Fine I will tell you, we used a Gamma ray bomb to destroy the Southside". Steven knocked him out and walked over to the building that Elizabeth was in, "Elizabeth! are you ok?" Steven asked. "Yes I'm fine but...". "But what?" Steven asked, "I just wanted to apologize, I'm sorry I have been a jerk for six years, I thought I did not have a friend in the whole world but I was too blind to see that you were right in front of me the whole time," Elizabeth said. "I accept you apologize, now we must find a way to contact someone to come and help us," Steven said. "Who can we call?" Elizabeth asked, "The Axe Republic, If one of their boats are out there they can hear us," Steven said. "And we are going to use this radio I found inside the tank," Steven exclaimed. "Then he tried to get a signal then he picked out one it was coming from a boat. "This is the Axe Republic supply ship who is this?", "This is Steven Holms, our city has been bombed and I and my friend are the only survivors," Steven said. "Alright we will send a plane to come and get you two out of there," the person on the radio said. "Thank you very much," Steven said, then he sat the radio on top of a car and they waited, and waited, and waited but still nothing. Then The tank operator woke up and ran off. Then Steven started to run after him, "Wait! Steven where are you going?" Elizabeth asked. "I can't let him get back to his base or he will tell them where we are," Steven said, Elizabeth ran with him then they got to the fence and they saw that it had been taken down. "I have never seen the Northside before," Elizabeth said, "Me neither," Steven said. The Northside looked like the Southside before the bomb exploded, except everything was much older and most of the buildings were abandoned and made out of bricks.

At the Siinport army base, General Able was looking out a window looking where the fence was when a Soldier walked in. "Sir tank operator was returned", Bring him in," Able said, The operator walked in. They saluted, then Able said, "Do you have anything to report?". "Well, Sir...I'm the only one who made it out alive". "What do you mean?" Able asked, "We were attacked by a person named Steven Holms, then he questioned me and I think he and his friend are on their way here". "Did you answer any of his questions?" Able asked, "I'm...sorry Sir I don't know what I was thinking," The tank operator got down on his knees. "Please forgive me," The tank operator begged, "Did or did you not tell them about the Gamma-ray bomb, YES OR NO!!" Able said. "YES I DID!," The tank operator said, "Please forgive me". "Oh don't worry I'm a very forgiving person," Able said then he got out a pistol and shot The tank operator. "But I'm only forgiving to people who are not weak fools, and that is what you are," Able said. Then he picked out a telephone. "Captan I want you to out the whole base on high alert," Able said. Then Soldiers were marching around with their rifles and spotlights were shining everywhere. "They must know we are where now," Steven said we need to get over to that launch pad so we can disable the bomb," Steven said. 

When they got there-there were only two Soldiers standing guard. Steven shot them with the rifle he stole, "After all of this is over I'm never going to kill another man," Steven said. Then they walked up to the control room, then they turned some things on and turned off things so the rocket would explode, Steven hooked up the controls to his small device so he could launch the rocket with just one press of a button.

 they went back to the Southside and Steven pushed the button, but there was no signal. "We are too far away from the rocket," Steven said, "But if we get too close to the rocket we might die," Elizabeth said. "You're right, here take this," Steven said handing her the rifle. "Where are you going?" Elizabeth asked, "I'm going to launch the rocket, and I don't care if I die," Steven said. "Wait I'm coming with you," Elizabeth said, "No you need to stay here just in case the Axe Republic shows up," Steven said then he ran back to the Northside. Then he stopped and walked back to Elizabeth and gave here a golden chess piece. "Take this, this is my lucky king piece so you will remember me," Steven said then he walked off.

He walked back to the launch pad but it needed to be higher to launch it. Steven looked around then he saw a tower, he decided to walk over to it and go to the top maybe he could get a good signal up there.

It took a while to walk out 83 stairs but he finally made it to the top room. He opened the door and walked in. He saw someone standing at a window looking out, it was Able. "So I see we have a guest," Able said. "Who are you?" Steven asked, "I am General Able Odium the leader of the Siinport Army and the entire Northside of this city," Able said. "And I have heard some things about you, Steven Holms, you attacked my scouting team I sent out and I also know you are a chess player and a writer," Able said. "Where did you do all of this," Steven said, "What are you talking about?" Able asked. "Don't play dumb with me I know you bombed Nobfrag, and you sent the scout team to find people who had survived," Able said. "I did it because your people stole from us, and besides I did it for our people," Able said. "You mean the people you had killed," Steven said. "I know what you did you killed your own people then you killed the people of Nogfrag now you want to kill even more people and I am not going to let that happen," Steven said. Then Steven was about to press the button but Able shot his leg. Steven yelled in pain then fell to the ground. "Well it looks like your plan has failed," Able said. "No it has not!" a voice said then someone shot Able in the head, Able stumbled then fell out the window Steven looked behind him and saw Elizabeth. "Thank you, Elizabeth, are you ready for what might be our last moment," Steven said. "Yes I'm ready," Elizabeth said. Then they walked to the top of the tower. "Let's do it together," Steven said. Then they both pressed the button at the same time. Then the rocket launched then flew up in the sky but it did not go all the way up, then it started to fall back down. "Steven, No matter what I said before, you are my true friend," Elizabeth said, "I fell the same way about you, Elizabeth," Steven said. Then the Rocket fell on the ground then it started to count down. 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,0. Then it exploded, then the entire Northside of the city was destroyed. But Steven and Elizabeth were not scared to die because they knew that someone had to do this, or else everyone would never see another day.

Now Estoe city is no more it is just a dusty Island. With ruins of the city and where the tower was there is now a sign that explorers put out, the sign says "After we looked around this area we found this old destroyed tower and we found something remarkable, It was golden King chess piece, it is amazing that it survived what every happened here". There are many stories about what happened here, some people say it was destroyed by a storm some say it was destroyed by an earthquake. But at least we know what happened, The End.
