Dark Depression

Dark Depression

A Poem by Sheela

You see the bright smile on my face

You see my happy actions I use all day

You think that I couldn’t be happier

But you’re wrong

I act that way in front of you

To get you to think I am fine

But I am really fading

Fading away into darkness

Dark Depression

You think I couldn’t be happier

But you’re wrong

Such a saddening verse for someone so young, but somethingmany of us feel.
Gentle yet tearing at the very souls who read this.
