Deceiving Anguish

Deceiving Anguish

A Poem by Fiore! :D

if that was psychosis
then who was to blame?
will anyone notice
if I become sane?
he made my dreams seem true
back then I wasn't blue

don't you try tonight
to free me
my anguish is deceiving
I know that I deserve
to be broken and hurt
till I'm smart
maybe then I can take back your heart

when I was a virgin
ah, yes, I recall
I had enough strength in
me to catch your falls
I wish I knew you then
you'd kill my fear of men

don't you try tonight
to free me
my anguish is deceiving
I know that I deserve
to be broken and hurt
crushed and burnt to the core
my extremities sore
eyes wide open in fear
with the love I hold dear
cast away safe at sea
long as they're far from me
but I need you right now
please just let me be selfish
return
