INJUSTICEA Poem by TianaA poem by me, Finn :) This poem is about the way nature is slowly getting destructed and how humans should protect and work to save it for perishing! It has been awhile, Since I was a shade, To the hard-workers of the day, A living flower vase, A living fruit basket. Now, it has all changed, Now, I’m just a bark of wood, Isn’t this injustice?! Oh! I miss those days, When my leaves were green, When the flowers bloomed, When the fruits were sweet, When my roots were strong, And when my trunks were complete. All were taken, from me! Isn’t this injustice?! It’s hard for me to believe, That the people, whom I gave shade, Fruits and flowers, Had come with an axe, And ripped me in half, Took my life away, To make paper, And in that paper, To write,”SAVE TREES”. Isn’t this injustice?! Aren’t we living creatures? Don’t we deserve lives too? Spreading the word, Won’t ever do any good. Just stop!! Stop killing nature! Who are you? To kill nature, And worship God?! Isn’t this injustice?! How would you feel? If your hands, legs, face And even your skin, Was taken away, For money!? Isn’t this injustice?! Think of the birds, Where will they settle? If they’re being flown away! Where can they lay eggs? And have their own families? Isn’t this injustice?! Why can’t dogs get some shelter? And some food and water? Instead of rudeness, And extreme violence! Isn’t this injustice?! Why can’t animals be treated right? For they were created by God! If you ask God for a good life, God won’t listen, For you killed it’s children!! Now, this IS justice!!
