NightfallA Poem by Jane Doe
When night falls
When night falls, Sleep calls, When you can dream peacefully, About boys and malls. A place where you can have it all, never learn, And expect nothing in return, Where you can walk through fire, And never feel the burn. Where I can lay in your embrace, My lips so close to your face, Your breath on my cheek, And our kiss, I can taste. Then the sun will rise, You will ignore the hi's, You will feel abandoned, As if all they say is lies. Then your day shall end, You will need a close friend, Then your eyes will shut, And your mind and heart will mend. © 2012 Jane Doe |
