Your perspectiveA Poem by Jane Doereview?(:
I glance in the mirror,
I see my entire relection, I wish to be all you need, To be considered perfection. To see how you see me, To know how you look in my eyes, To cease wonder of how you see, Through all of my lies. To notice how you feel, How I make you feel, I would trade everything, Anythings a done deal. Cause my hearts been shattered, My wrist have been cut, I am mean, rude and queer, I am a misfit, considered a mutt. Yet you pledge, Your love to me everyday, Telling me, You love me in everyway. To overlook my flaws, To see my soul, See me as an equal, The other half to your whole. Im just another weed in the world, Another bar on a ugly shopping cart, Crazy and odd, But to you I am your heart. © 2012 Jane Doe |
