The pond

The pond

A Poem by Jane Doe
"

I really like this one!(:

"
It's a weird day,
When the froggys don't play,
And the little lilies go away,
All by this mysterious pond.

Where he first held my hand,
Placed a kiss upon my cheek and,
Told me he wanted to be more then a friend,
All by this mysterious pond.

Where our anniversary took place,
Nothing went waste,
A ring was taken out of it's case,
All by this mysterious pond.

Our wedding began,
Me claiming him as my man,
Him taking me by the hand,
All by this mysterious pond.

Where our kids grew up,
Where they threw up,
And where they discovered they're new pup,
All by this mysterious pond.

Where death claimed me,
Not to long after thee,
One I had loved my only,
All by this mysterious pond.

Awh! This is so sweet! I love how it tells a story in simple words! Sometimes, less is more, and you definitely proved that statement to be true. Good job! =]
