Dear love of mine.

Dear love of mine.

A Poem by Jane Doe

Dear love of mine

Dear love of mine,
I'm ecstatic you have returned,
This time only I let you go,
But like they say it's better to have loved then never to have loved at all, I admit lesson learned.

It is true,
You are the one who knows me most,
You know my life,
I know your strife.

Two things,
We have almost managed destroy,
Yours for better mine not so much,
But we can leave this place, to take our spots, decoys.

I love you,
That true,
You love me,
Hopefully...but will we ever be?

I dream about a day where we are wedded,
Where we keep our love flowing freely,
Our damaged hearts beat in sync,
But will this ever come true, what do you think?

Let our love run deep as our fingers intertwine,
Our hearts beat in sync,
As my love and affection,
For you grows within every blink.
