I sit by the window.A Poem by Jane Doe
I sit by the window.
I sit by the window, And watch the storm, Whipping the trees around, And practically screaming winds and rain. I sit by the window, As the rain pounds, And blurs my vision, Then it is all calm...again. I sit by the window, As the power is out, My book is open on my lap, And my family is in the room beside this. I sit by the window, As the wind howls, My siblings laugh and play games, I can't seem not to worry. I sit by the window, Like it will protect me, When in reality nothing can, It's all left up to the creator on who it takes and who it spares. © 2011 Jane DoeAuthor's Note
