Good ol' days.

Good ol' days.

A Poem by Jane Doe

I wish we could go back to the days,

Where we fought for our kingdom and rode our dragons,

Where we shot our AK-47 and were never really put in harms way,

Ahhhh those sure were the days.

Can't we go back,

No,

Why not,

Then who would be able to create more good old day when were older?

We laughed and giggled often,

I looked at you and thought you were perfect soldier,

You looked at me and laughed at my mouth hanging open,

You closed it and fast forward ten years later.

Can't we stay like this forever?

No,

Why not,

Then who would produce our children to watch the real good old days?

You wee so hansome,

I was soo gorgeous(what happened?),

We were 17 and a 1/2 and we didn't let those belts get in the way,

Then you grab my hand and I kiss yours gently.

Do we have to continue on?

Yes,

Why,

So we can remeber how we got like this.

(10yrs later)

We had Aubrey and Kadin,

You kissed their forehead,

And I hugged them good night,

We tucked them in but not before i wiped your tears away.

I look in your eyes and there are those tears once again,

I gently swipe them away with my index finger,

You look into my eyes,

And I grab the remote and fast forward.

There it is us,

Now ,

Then,

I wish we could replay those good old days.

I laugh,

You join in,

I hit the repeat butten on the remote,

And we trn into a fit of giggles and laughter.
