Growing Up

Growing Up

A Poem by Jane Doe

Growing Up

The roads I have traveled,

So bumpy...,

So jagged....,

So hard to continue.

I strived,

I've overcomed,

I've been overwhemled,

And I am still here.

It was hard,

It was dangerous,

It was the road of life,

But the one I traveled was carved from my birth.

Carved from my mistakes,

My bad moments,

And my good,

It was made out of all the bad luck I've had in life.

Growing up,

Is tough,

But youll make it,

You make the road and you might as well travel it.

You have lots to say. I believe your message could have been better explained by utilizing some literary techniques. Nevertheless, it's the message that counts, right? Thank-you for the story.
