My Stone

My Stone

A Poem by Jane Doe

My mom:

My Stone,

My Rock,

So strong,

So tough.

Dearie,

Even the strongest mayfall,

But the get strong by getting up by using a wall,

Let me be your wall,

Let me help you up.

You took a terrible fall,

Shooed me off when I came to pick you up,

But you fell again once I backed off,

Let me be your wall.

My Stone,

My Rock,

So strong,

So tough.

Let me be your wall.

I say to her-

My mom,

so bright and tall,

So nice and kind,

Will you be my wall?

so I say to you~

My Stone,

My Rock,

So strong,

So tough.

Dearie,

Even the strongest mayfall,

But the get strong by getting up by using a wall,

Let me be your wall,

Let me help you up.

You took a terrible fall,

Shooed me off when I came to pick you up,

But you fell again once I backed off,

Let me be your wall.

My Stone,

My Rock,

So strong,

So tough.

Let me be your wall.

I only wish for you to say-

My Abbie,

so bright and tall short,

So nice and kind,

Will you be my wall?
