Another Heart in DenialA Poem by Jane DoeJust a Fling: Trevor Wesley
Every time I close my eyes,
It's your smile, Every time my breath catches, It is my heart in denial. I try to tell myself I don't want this, I don't want you, that you have a kid and I should run away, But the truth is what we both know, I would take a family over partying any day. We are young, And I don't know if we will last, We are broken, but we go together so well, so smooth, like glass. Every time I close my eyes, It's your smile, Every time my breath catches, It is my heart in denial. The timing is off, It is so unfortunate honestly, You are the first in a while, in ever to dish it all back, Always on my toes, enjoying it though, happy constantly. The only time you lay a hand on me, Is to caress me, to bring me new joys and experiences each time we lay, Pull my hair and press on my neck ever so sweetly, Giving me something to dream about all night, all day. Every time I close my eyes,
It's your smile, Every time my breath catches, It is my heart in denial. © 2017 Jane DoeAuthor's Note
