No Goodnight.A Poem by Jane DoeUgh
Tossed to the side,
Not even a goodbye, More secrets to hide. Try as I may, It never goes away, Regardless of what my logical thinking may say. So I will exit with a sigh, Wishing for my goodbye, Closing my eyes as my heart begins to die. Greeted by the endless night, Pure black surrounds me I put up no fight, Because a world of nothingness, oh what a sight. A world without you was painful enough, I want you intertwined again but it's tough, Because I go to shake your hand and am greeted by a cuff. You push me away, It's the same damn game everyday, But I'm sick and tired of it I say. © 2013 Jane DoeAuthor's Note
