No Goodnight.

No Goodnight.

A Poem by Jane Doe
"

Ugh

"
Tossed to the side,
Not even a goodbye,
More secrets to hide.

Try as I may,
It never goes away,
Regardless of what my logical thinking may say.

So I will exit with a sigh,
Wishing for my goodbye,
Closing my eyes as my heart begins to die.

Greeted by the endless night,
Pure black surrounds me I put up no fight,
Because a world of nothingness, oh what a sight.

A world without you was painful enough,
I want you intertwined again but it's tough,
Because I go to shake your hand and am greeted by a cuff.

You push me away,
It's the same damn game everyday,
But I'm sick and tired of it I say.

Soon enough, we must learn to walk away and accept that we must move on. No matter how much we feel for that certain person who decided to push us away. I've been pushed away, treated like I was nothing to someone and I kept going back, trying to get him to explain things to me about what happened, what I did wrong. What I could do to make it right. He made it seem so easy to just forget about me...to make me feel like I didn't exist to him anymore when I was something to him a week earlier. All that we shared, I had to wipe my tears and move on. No matter what I thought, no matter how emotional I got, I had to push myself to get up every morning, get through each day and keep my head up and make it seem like nothing bothered me. I did what I could to make every feeling, every thought that pertained to the situation to disappear.
