A better day.

A better day.

A Poem by Jane Doe

I'm on the edge!
Help me cause my foot slipped,
A glacier hit the front,
Then followed the whole ship tipped.

I just want you forever,
Sorry Im so selfish,
But please stay by my side,
It's my only one wish.

In the freezing water,
Jack don't leave me,
Ill be just another skeleton,
Drifting lost out at sea.

So what now?
What have I become?
Whatever it is,
I just need it to be undone.

Cause my life is long gone,
My sorrow is all I wallow in,
I'm simply a stain on a white shirt,
This is heaven my friend and I'm a deadly sin.

I creep when you are vulnerable,
Hoping you will let me in,
But Im heartless,
For I am made of tin.

So help restore what I once was,
So frail and pure,
Help me be myself again,
Help me, I beg, find a cure.

Naive is what I wish to be,
No I wish to live my life,
Let the currents take me where it may,
Nothing to stop me no gun or bullet or knife.

Nothing to stop me,
From having my way,
So ill sleep sound to the moon,
And pray for a better day.
