Good Enough/Not You, Yet

Good Enough/Not You, Yet

A Poem by CC

The weather cooled

Into cuffing season

And

I almost let myself fall

Into someone else’s arms

They may have been

Good enough

But

 He

 Isn’t

  You

So I let him go

Like an autumn leaf

Knowing it could be a long winter

Before

You spring.
