The phone call

The phone call

A Chapter by fingerprints79

The man watched the local race through the Forrest before letting out a big sigh. Staring at his died work colleague, he took another damp cigarette out of his oversized raincoat pocket and inhaled the smoke. "It's f*****g peaceful now isn't it?" He said to the limbless body that was stained in red. Shaking his head, he reached to the the victim and grabbed his mobile from his jacket. He phoned his boss.

"What took you so long! Has the job been done?" Said the harsh voice over the phone.
"It would be done quicker if you gave me a f*****g useful co worker." The man spat in an aggresive tone "Yes, the girl is died and so is the piece of s**t. I can't send a picture because the weather is bad and the lighting isn't f*****g great."
The voice stood silent for a moment.
"what do you mean piece of s**t is died? You just needed to kill a maniac small girl. I didn't send you out to assasinate Sarah Conner."
"Well I rather kill Sarah Conner than kill the girl again, she shot him right in the head. Listen the phone battery is running out and I still need to call the coronals to clean this s**t up." he replied in a distressed tone. "F*****g hell," the voice muttered "Fine, make sure you clock out on the way back and do the paperwork of them both," The phones line went died.
