A Poem by Everett Dulin

it was so sudden
a flash, and those years
were so far gone
my usual face but, not the same one

from every moment
of anything seemed important
there was always that flash
a moment, that negatives formed in

and each time
the flash caught my eyes
"where am i?"
floods my mind

there was one moment
and a single photo
that i didnt hate
of the people i loved

whys it the one im not a part of?
