droplets

A Poem by Everett Dulin

throw myself into the chipper
turn myself to chum
so viscous predators attract
i will feel wanted

season the seas
with my arms left in pieces
line your hook
with my soddened shredded sleeves

then they'll come
and you can watch with awe
beautiful sharks and rays
to indulge on my act of love

what remains, will succumb
to the oceans depths
and with the crustaceans
i will become one

a sharp metaphor here...even being wanted by the sharks can take away loneliness in a sense.
being wanted by predators is better than not being wanted at all.
nicely done,
j.
