continue walking

continue walking

A Poem by Everett Dulin

watching the flames
tear through green eyes
beating the path
with orange insolent light

to the north
lie a willow tree
with leaves glowing
blues and yellows, you should see

where i come from
they march in droves
theyre leaves falling
lighting the way home

watching the flames
as my body decays
green eyes spotting
the meaning of life
