i want my shirt back.

i want my shirt back.

A Poem by Everett Dulin

your leftover garbage
still sits in my closet
its my treasure
the rot i sulk with

wrappers and dreams
to be's and will be's
laughter, and good things
now just distant memories

you still have my t shirt
the green one, my heart
do you still cling to it?
does it rip you apart?

by doing fine
ive gone completely insane
can i hide in your skin
until it blows away?

lov
you managed to express the bitterness and the despair, which comes with a breakup, so well!
to love and want and seek a person despite the pain they caused is one of the greatest emotional pain I`ve experienced . you wrote that so well, i can relate

thank you for your words
