repressed

repressed

A Poem by Everett Dulin

the sky dims
i find myself awake
in a dreamlike world
to find my name

on unpaved roads
and long forgotten streets
past those
following the creek

through a grove
over the hills
the only company here
verizon wifi and cell

past those iron strangers
their voices on wire
farther than
satellite captures

lay a field
of glowing leaves
falling from iridescent trees
thats where im going
