i dont even know, im tired

i dont even know, im tired

A Poem by Everett Dulin

it could drive me insane,
every breath you take.
theres never been a moment,
as good as enough.

did you watch it fade,
unfearing, never speaking?
a token of what isnt love,
brought you back, reminiscing?

i know i watched them.
the embers
were still the flame.
i guess there was a miscommunication.

you couldn't find, what you loved.
if id ask you to point, your hands fade to dust.
thats fine now, my worlds with the doves.
i just wanted you to remember

how much is enough.
