A Poem by Everett Dulin

was it tuesday?
it was a tuesday.
when the world ended,
we watched it burn.

two strangers never understanding.

was it days, weeks, years?
it was years.
we were there standing,
two children in love.

oh wasn't it enchanting?

i think, and think.
or atleast i thought.
the idea of you eternally by me,
was such a pleasant blight.

the world's ended, there are more important thoughts.

"i love you?"
somewhere that was lost.
in the mundane drone,
of waiting for the world to end.

oh what a show it was.

It was a Tuesday. I know.
Everything is temporary, also love and pain. It's not a bad thing. The way you hurting right now shows you have a big heart and you are lucky to love. And you will love again.
Beside that ofc as always you write amazing. Take care. Take a deep breath
