Jar of What

Jar of What

A Poem by Catherine
"

i sat thinking what the * is and i still don't know. you don't always have to know.

"

Am I enough to be enough?

Am I willing to taste what is yours?

I don’t know.

I don’t know if I can.

Tender apples and lilies white-

I want to know and I want it now.

I can feel the * oozing out of my bones without control-

Flooding the streets with what is what.

You’re jarring it close and storing it high where I cannot reach-

You know that I can’t reach,

You know that.

You know that I don’t know yet.

You know that.
